Navigating projects with a single data room

This article describes the basic sections of every project and the main navigation in between them for projects with just one data room (Drooms TRANSACTION, FLEX, FREE).
  1. After signing in to Drooms, select and enter your project via the home page.
  1. On the left you will find the vertical navigation menu with the different project sections available to you.
  1. To switch to another section, click on the corresponding icon in the left navigation menu.
The available sections and their contents depend on your role within the project and differ for regular users and administrators.
Left navigation menu and corresponding sections for projects with single data room:

  1. Data Room (all users, default selection): Contains the index with documents, the permissions panel, and the document viewer with further information added to documents, such as highlights and notes, questions and answers, metadata, and redaction data.
  1. Reports (all users): Provides administrators with various graphical statistics about different aspects of data room use, as well as full activity history reports about every single user or administrative action ever taken in a data room. Regular users can track their own group’s activities in all details.
  1. UsersAdministrators can create and manage groups and users. Non-administrator users may look up their fellow group members, if permitted ('Group Visibility' must be activated by administrators). Otherwise the Users section will not be shown.
  1. Q&A (administrators only, to start with, if the Q&A feature is enabled for the project): Administrators can configure a Q&A process, if needed. Once a Q&A has been started, this section will become available to all involved users to ask and answer questions.
  1. Findings (all users, but only if the Findings Manager feature is enabled for the project): The Findings Manager allows users to manage their personal due diligence findings, and select from findings our AI suggests.
  1. Gear Wheel (for administrators) or Info icon (regular users): This section provides administrators with information about the project, enabled features, and access to the project settings, for example the branding functionalities. Regular users can access the project info page.
